“My name is Lori Miller, I work for Studio I Boutique which is a post Mastectomy and Wig Boutique for women dealing with cancers, surgeries and other medical conditions. When we first heard about “Hello Gorgeous!” and what Kim and Mike Becker were trying to accomplish we instantly knew we wanted to participate in their mission! I am personally thankful for the time that Kim and her team have put into educating cosmetology professionals. They train them on how to care for these women properly to keep them safe and still pamper them so that they too can feel special and have some normalcy in their life. “In March, 2017 I headed to NYC and the annual IBS (that’s international beauty show...btw!) It was my annual pilgrimage .. Looking for the latest trends, the must haves for the salon. I spied a big red Hello Gorgeous! RV and had to investigate. Little did I know then that my life was about to change.

I spoke with the girls representing Hello Gorgeous! at the show, their hearts were so genuine and warm, explaining about the safe way their program provides services to women with cancer, I immediately was interested.

The next day, I signed up to listen to Kim Becker, the co-founder of Hello Gorgeous! (Along with her late husband, Michael) I was hooked! Hello Gorgeous! had taken over my life! I knew then that I was a part of something bigger than myself, bigger than us all. I came back from the show, totally enthused about the amazing women I had met and the incredible program I so wanted us to be a part of.

The girls at my salon were just as excited as I was and we made a date for our first Hello Gorgeous! Makeover and our first annual fundraiser.

It is still a few months till our year anniversary of being a part of Hello Gorgeous! We are planning our second FUNdraiser and have our makeovers scheduled through the fall. My team looks forward to our Gorgeous lady, once a month, touching her heart in a way that no one could ever imagine. This year we have a lot bigger team, our Gorgeous women and their families are looking forward to making this year’s fundraiser bigger and better than the last.

We have made so many wonderful new friends, touched so many lives and best of all, our hearts are incredibly full, thanks to Hello Gorgeous!
